Jiguey is another secondary location and a smugglers’ den featured in Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
Jiguey should be visited after you retrieve the treasure map on Ile a Vache, because inside the den you will find the buried chest revealed by the said map. After you enter the den, you should focus on killing all smugglers, and then find the buried chest.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Jiguey Chests Locations
Chest 1
The first smugglers’ chest is located on top of a crate in the eastern side of the den. Inside the chest you will find 2 fire barrels for the Jackdaw.
Chest 2
After you loot the first chest turn left, and climb the wooden structure to reach the upper level where you will find the second smuggler’s chest, containing 30 units of sugar.
Chest 3
In order to collect the third chest in the den, you will have to reach the middle of the camp. While standing next to the camp fire, locate a large shack with several barrels inside.
Go around the shack to get the chest and loot it for 30 units of rum.
Chest 4
For the last smugglers’ chest in Jiguey you will have to reach the western side of the cave (left side on your main map). When you get close to its location, you will see another structure made of wood.
Climb the ladder nearby to get to the upper level and loot the chest to get even more rum (35 units).

Animus Fragment 1
The first AC4 Animus Fragment in Jiguey is under the wooden structure where you have found the second chest.
You will have to jump into the water and swim below the said structure in order to collect it.
Animus Fragment 2
Similar to the first fragment, the second one is located under another wooden structure. On top of it you will find the fourth chest.
Once you loot it, drop down and go around the construction to find the entrance to a dead end, where the Animus Fragment can be found.

Secret 1: Letter
Jiguey also includes a secret that can be collected while visiting the smugglers’ den.
The secret is a letter (My Deepening Predicament), which is extremely easy to find, being located near the rowboat at the entrance. Look for it next to a palm tree, when you get to the den, or when you leave the area.
