Animus Fragment 1
The first Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Animus Fragment on the small island of Florida is on top of the viewpoint.
When you first arrive on the island you will have to synchronize the viewpoint. Before performing the Leap of Faith, look up and you will see the collectible. Climb on top of the viewpoint to collect it.
Animus Fragment 2
The second AC4 Animus Fragment is on the western side of the island where you will find a shipwreck.
The collectible is on top of the bowsprit, and you can easily retrieve it by climbing the structure.

On the same island you can also find a letter. The letter is inside a bottle and its location is marked on your map. Look for it close to the water, and under a palm tree.
When you open it you will find the “Reste and Repaste” Letter.
