Crooked Island is a secondary location in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, where you can find a hidden tavern and you can trigger two Assassin Contracts (Contract 19: The Poachers and Contract 20: The Deserter).

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Crooked Island Animus Fragments Locations
Animus Fragment 1
The first collectible you can retrieve on Crooked Island, when you visit the area for the first time, is Animus Fragment #1.
Located east from the harbor, the fragment floats between two huts. One of them includes a ledge on the roof.
Place Edward on it and jump on the roof of the next cottage. After you get the fragment turn around and look down to see an isolated patch of sand and a palm tree. Explore it to find the secret on Crooked Island.
Animus Fragment 2
The second Animus Fragment is on a catwalk that connects two huts. Walk on it after you climb one of the buildings.
Animus Fragment 3
The final Ac4 Animus Fragment on the island can be collected after the last chest because it is around the corner of the house where the chest is located.
It sits on top of a pillar on which you have to jump using the poles around it.

Secret: Letter
Crooked Island also includes a secret.
The bottle containing the letter (My Firste Reverie) is on the isolated island on the south-eastern side of the main area, close to the first fragment, and near a palm tree.

Chest 1
North from the location where you have found the secret is a pier on which you will find the first chest. You will see it near a large rope, and inside it are 309 Reales.
Chest 2
The second chest is also on the eastern beach, close to the water and a large rock. Loot it to get 326 Reales.
Chest 3
Chest #3 is located in the northern side of the island, near a campfire. It is an accessible collectible and if you loot it you will receive 317 Reales.
Chest 4
The fourth chest is located on the western beach, very close to the rowboat you can use to return to the Jackdaw.
You will find it behind five barrels, near the water. Inside the chest are a pearl (70 R), a porcelain charger (15 R) and 195 Reales.
Chest 5
Chest #5 marked on the map is under one of the buildings in the village. While standing on the ground, look for an upper platform right below the building.
Inside the chest are 224 Reales, a porcelain tea set (55 Reales), and a box for spices (50 R).
Chest 6
The final chest is close to the tavern in Crooked Island and also near the third fragment. It is on the porch of a house, where you will also see a red piece of cloth. The chest holds 286 Reales.
