Another medium Naval Fort and area featured in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag is Conttoyor, located north of Tulum.
Conttoyor is a level 32 Naval Fort that must be captured to fully control the West-Indies Sea.
Protected by seven defenses, Conttoyor is a Spanish Naval Fort, easy to capture because of its location. When you approach the fort for the first time, you will notice that it was built on a solitary island in the middle of the ocean.
Its location, allows you to move around the fort and fire your cannons all the time. If you move constantly you will also be able to avoid the fort’s mortars and cannons.
After you destroy the fort, capture it by reaching the War Room, and then you will be able to retrieve the collectibles in the following text guide.
Additionally, if you capture Conttoyor, you will unlock Naval Contract 02: The Law Of The Ocean, and Naval Contract 10: The Realities Of War. The area around the fort also includes 3 uncharted collectibles.

Chest 1
The first AC4 chest in Conttoyor is located in the middle area of the fort. Look for it near some stairs.
Inside the first chest marked on the map you will find 269 Reales. Collect the money, then turn and go around the corner of the building to your right, to spot the second fragment
Chest 2
The second chest in Conttoyor is also easy to retrieve and you can loot it after the second animus fragment. Once you get the fragment, if you turn left and cross the upper courtyard, you will get close to wall.
Climb it and look down to see a bush near two barrels. Behind the bush is the second chest.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Conttoyor Animus Fragments Locations
Animus Fragment 1
The first Animus Fragment is located close to the north-western wall, above a ledge. Its location can be reached by jumping on the ledges nearby and then on the crane arm that will take you automatically close to the collectible.
After you retrieve it, head towards the center area of the fort to find the first chest.
Animus Fragment 2
Assassin’s Creed 4 Animus Fragment 2 in Conttoyor is close to the second chest. After you loot the said chest, go right around the building and look up to see the fragment on top of a suspended cage.
Use the crates in front of you to reach the pillar holding the cage and collect the fragment. From your current location, turn left and cross the area until you reach the edge of the wall. While standing on the said wall look below for the second chest.
