Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Andreas Island is a secondary location you will visit while playing the main missions of the video game, following Edward’s life.
Because of its size, Andreas Island includes only a viewpoint that must be synchronized, located on the western beach.
The island is defended by low level ships, but sometimes frigates also dock here. On the island you can hunt Iguanas.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Andreas Island Animus Fragments Locations
Animus Fragment 1
For the first Animus Fragment marked on the map below, you will have look above two large rocks, in the center of the island.
Go around them and you will find a path that allows you to get to the top of the second stone. While standing on the edge, jump on the tree trunk nearby.
Animus Fragment 2
Animus Fragment 2 is on a shipwreck located on the northern beach. Sprint toward its location and look for another tree trunk you can use as a ramp.
Jump on the shipwreck to get the collectible.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Andreas Island Chests Locations
Chest 1 & 2
The first two chests are very close to each other and they are located on the eastern beach. Look for them near the rocky area, while walking down the said beach.
The first chest contains 113 R, a silver bracelet (80 R), and an ornate tobacco box (80 R). Inside the second chest you will find 139 R and a gold tiara (170 R).
Chest 3 The third chest on the island is located in the vicinity of the viewpoint (south-east).
You will find it near the stand of a fisherman, and inside it are 2 smoke bombs and 273 R.
Chest 4 & 5
The last two chests are also close to each other, in the south-western side of the island, and on the beach.
Look for them inside the remains of a shipwreck, next to a wooden wall. If you loot the fourth chest you will find 190 R and an emerald (110 R), and if you loot the fifth chest you will collect 279 R and two sleep darts.

Secret 1: Manuscript – De Gama Diary Exact
“De Gama Diary Exact” is a manuscript and the first secret on Andreas Island.
The chest containing the manuscript is protected by two soldiers, who patrol in a small restricted area, on the eastern beach. You can kill both of them in open combat, because they can’t call for reinforcements, and then loot the chest they protect.
Secret 2: Letter
The second secret on the island is a letter (“A Curiouse Incident At Sea”). The letter can be found south from the previous collectable and north from the tavern on Andreas Island. It is partially buried in the sand but it will glow when you get near it.
Secret 3: Cadaver
The final secret on Andreas Island is also the most important, because it is a cadaver carrying a treasure map. The cadaver is on the southern beach, and south from the last two chests you have looted.
You will find it next to a large rock. After you loot the cadaver, you will pick up a new treasure map that shows a large ship and the following coordinates: 606,835. T
he coordinates on the treasure map you find on Andreas Island, point to Abaco Island; therefore, you have to sail there in order to get the buried treasure chest.
Once you arrive on Abaco Island, locate the large ship stuck in the sand. Go to its rear side and while facing it, turn right to see three palm trees that form a circle.
In the middle of the circle, you will find the hidden treasure chest containing 4000 R.
