Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Ambergris Key is the location you should visit if you want to collect a buried chest, after you find the treasure map in Corozal.
Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag Ambergris Key requires the diving bell, because this specific location can be accessed only though an underwater tunnel.
There are no sharks in the area, but there are several jellyfishes you have to avoid while diving.
The location also includes a smugglers’ den and a series of collectibles you have to retrieve.

Chest 1
The first chest in Ambergris Key must be retrieved while advancing towards the underground cave, following the northern tunnel.
The chest is located on the bottom of the ocean, below the air pocket. Inside are 55 units of rum.
Chest 2
The second chest is inside the smuggler’s den. In their camp, go right and look for it close to the central pillar of the Mayan Temple. Inside you will find 70 units of sugar.
Chest 3
On the other side of the same pillar you will find the final chest belonging to the smugglers. It is located on top of two crates, and near a burning torch. Loot it to get 4 mortar shots and several fire barrels.

Animus Fragment 1
When you enter the large underwater cave you will be able to retrieve the first Animus Fragment.
It is located below the balcony where one of the thieves oversees the area. Swim towards the collectible and climb the wall below it in order to retrieve the fragment.
Animus Fragment 2
The second Animus fragment in Ambergris Key is located in the central area of the den. Look for the collectible in the upper tunnel and get inside using the downed pillar on the ground.

The final collectible you can retrieve from Ambergris Key, is also the most important because it is a treasure map. T
he map shows the location of a buried chest inside which you will find the plan for the elite shot. T
he treasure map is fairly easy to collect, being in a tunnel on the other side of the den. Check the ground for the cadaver that carries the map and open it to find the following coordinates: 307,195.
The map also shows a large Mayan Temple and a pond. Both of them are located on the island named Misteriosa.
If you synchronized the viewpoint on Misteriosa, then fast-travel to its location. If you didn’t, you will have to sail to the island, and synchronize it. In both cases, while standing on top of the viewpoint, turn around and you will see the temple, behind you.
Furthermore, behind the temple, is a pond, which gathers the water from a waterfall nearby. Sprint to the waterfall, and on the left side you should see a large tree and several bushes.
Behind them is the digging spot for the buried chest revealed by the Ambergris Key treasure map.
