Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Abaco Island Animus Fragments Locations
Animus Fragment 1
When you get to Abaco Island, make sure you synch the viewpoint and open your map. On this island you will find only a chest; therefore, it should be your first priority.
Once you loot it, look up, while standing close to it, and you will notice the first Animus Fragment.
To get it, look for a palm tree that was downed by storms, and use it as a ramp to reach the next tree. Continue to climb, until you get on the highest branch. Advance on it and jump to perform a Leap of Faith and secure the fragment.
Animus Fragment 2
The second Animus Fragment on Abaco Island is located in the eastern side of the area. When you get to the marked location, look for the rowboat and in front of it, you will observe a pole.
While facing the said pole and the boat, turn right and you will notice a tree in which you can climb. Get to the highest branch, and while standing on it, facing the fragment, jump towards it to land on the pillar and get the collectible.
Animus Fragment 3
In the southern part of the island you will find the third Animus Fragment. Close to it you will see two trees but you can climb only one of them. Again, get to the highest branch, and then perform a Leap of Faith to collect the fragment.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag Abaco Island Secrets Locations
Secret 1: Letter
The remaining two collectibles on Abaco Island are two secrets, the first one being a bottle on the western side of the island. Inside the bottle which glows when you get close to it, is a letter written by Peter Beckford The Elder.
The bottle is in the sandy area, close to the water.
Secret 2: Cadaver
The second secret is an AC4 Treasure Map, carried by one of the pirates that visited the island.
The pirate’s corpse is marked on your map and you will find it resting near a palm tree. Once you get the treasure map, you will notice that the coordinates (749,625) point to another island; therefore you will have to find the exact location.
If you use the main map, you will find that the coordinates (749,625) will get you to a small island on the south-eastern side.
The island is named Salt Lagoon. Assuming that you will travel to Salt Lagoon, when you reach the land, head to the northern part of the island and look for a large rock.
At the bottom of the rock, you will find the digging spot and you will reveal a chest which contains 3000 R and the design plan for the “Serpent Figurehead”.
