Battlefield 1 Collector’s Edition was also revealed yesterday by EA along with the game’s first trailer and the Battlefield 1 release date.
During the reveal stream, EA confirmed that the game will be released for Xbox One,PlayStation 4, and PC on October 21, 2016; and there will be two editions available.
The first one is the Battlefield 1 Early Enlister Deluxe Edition which costs $79.99, or 64.99 depending on your region.
According to the official Battlefield 1 website it allows you to
“Be the first on front lines – snag the Early Enlister Deluxe Edition today and get the Hellfighter, Red Baron, and Lawrence of Arabia packs full of themed weapons and gear; five extra Battlepacks stuffed with great items; and access to the full game on October 18, three days before release.”
So, for $79.99 you get Early Access on October 18th, the Hellfighter Pack, the Red Baron Pack, the Lawrence of Arabia Pack and 5x Battlepacks.
Seems to be a fair price, right? Now, here is something more expensive.
For $219.99, you can buy the Battlefield 1 Exclusive Collector’s Edition, pictured below.
The Collector Edition is already available for pre-order on amazon and if you afford to pay the price you will get the Battlefield 1 Deluxe Edition game, a 14 inch tall statue, an exclusive steel book, an exclusive cloth poster, a deck of playing cards, a messenger pigeon tube with exclusive DLC, an exclusive patch, and premium packaging.
The statue is a Harlem Hellfighter character with a Mauser pistol and a trench club. If you want only the DLC inside the pigeon tube, you will have to wait 1 year and pay for it.
$219.99 is not a small price. Do you think is worth buying the Battlefield 1 Exclusive Collector’s Edition?
