Great Demon World Village is the second chapter of the fourth act featured in Shadows of the Damned.
It follows The Big Boner chapter, but unlike it, the gameplay is different.
In Great Demon World Village, players will control Garcia Hotspur from a 2D perspective. They can move the character up, down, left and right using the left thumbstick, while the right thumbstick is used to move Garcias weapon.
The guide below, is part of the full Shadows of the Damned text walkthrough, and explains how to complete the Great Demon World Village level.
The Great Demon World Village chapter is different than the rest, because it is a platforming level.
In other words you must reach the end of the stage, by controlling Garcia Hotspur in a 2D environment.
There are no special bosses in this level and you cant get stuck as long as you remember the basics of the game.
Make sure you use the Light Shot on Goat Heads and stay away from the Demons that appear.
Some obstacles such as walls can be destroyed.
To kill a Demon covered by Darkness, use the Light Shot first and the normal shot after.
There are several save points in this level, but you have to fire at Justine to activate them.
This chapter is rich in white crystals, and it is a good idea to gather as much as you can, because you can trade them later with Christopher.
If you spend too much time near a Demon, you will take damage. If you take too much damage, you will die.
The amount of health left can be observed directly on Garcia, because he loses a piece of clothing when he is attacked.
When he is naked and she looks like a skeleton, he is almost dead.
In this level you cant switch between weapons, but you will find better weapons when you advance.
Make sure to use the weapons you find to take out as many Demons as you can.
The chapter ends when you reach the end, which is marked by Justine standing in front of a house. When the level is complete you will unlock the Great Demon World Village Achievement/Trophy.
The next chapter is called Ghost Hunter.
