Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII The Angel’s Tears Walkthrough

In Luxerion, the first area you will visit while playing Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, you can discover a side-quest named The Angel’s Tears, which is an accessible quest similar to Buried Passion.

For this side-quest you don’t have to find specific ingredients, or to hunt monsters, but you will need to invest some of your money.

The Angel’s Tears is unlocked only if you complete In the Shadow of the Heretics main quest, and since it will take you four days to complete it, you should activate it the moment it becomes available.

Quest Walkthrough

When In the Shadow of the Heretics ends, between 4 PM and 9 PM, try to get to the South Station in Luxerion and look for a girl in the plaza right in front of the station.

Luka, your client and the quest-giver, spawns in the same location, on top of the stairs leading to the plaza.

She wears a blue beret and a black coat. After you talk to Luka, your objective will be to hear her story, and eventually find out why she is selling her tears.

But Luka won’t agree to tell you the whole story in one day, and you will be asked to get back and see her again, later. Each time you talk to Luka, you will have to pay her, and the price she asks will increase exponentially.

You will start with 10 Gil, followed by 50, 300 and for the last part you will have to pay 1200 Gil.

Note: All money you spent will be reimbursed.

Since there is no rule on the days you have to visit her, you can continue the quest whenever you have time to spare, meaning that you don’t have to talk to her 4 days in a row, but there must be 4 different days.

After you hear the final part of Luka’s story, you will end the quest and receive all rewards along with all money spent.
