Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD New Orleans Chests

Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD Treasure Chests Locations

The Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD Treasure Chests play an important role in the video game published by Ubisoft for PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360, allowing you to purchase various goods for Aveline, such as weapons and outfits.

Unlike other collectibles in the game, the Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD Chests can be found in all areas and they don’t require a specific persona.

The chests are similar to those available in other Assassin’s Creed video games, meaning that they contain various amounts of money; however, in Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD the treasure chests are smaller and they are red. When looting a treasure chest in the video game, you will usually find 250, 750, 1500 or 3000 Écu.

An Écu is a coin and the monetary system used in Assassin’s Creed Liberation. The first Écu was minted in 1266. The coin’s name relates to the Latin word Scutum, or Shield in English. Being the monetary system in Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, all transactions you will make, use Écu.

The following AC Liberation HD guide explains how to collect all treasure chests in the video game, offering hints and tips that will help you find them faster.

The guide follows a specific order using a customized map, and also reveals how much money you will find in each chest.

You can’t get to the chest while on the ground; therefore, climb the ladder near the water tower, then the barrel. Head right while hanging on the barrel’s edge, and look for several points that allow you to descend. Next, drop on the wooden ledge below you, and jump inside the water tower.

Loot the chest for 750 Écu and exit using the wooden platforms attached to one of the tower’s walls.
